Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by solar panels generally mounted on the lighting structure or integrated into the pole itself. The solar panels charge a rechargeable battery, which powers a fluorescent or LED lamp during the night.

They are the most economical solution to light up streets, compounds, paths or roads in any application such as schools, resorts and lodges, home compounds or even factories at night.

They require no cabling to the grid power and thus less installation time, less downtime as each light is independently powered unlike with traditional designs.
